Black

Most standard products are available precolored black. Several choices of black are available, as shown in the accompanying table.

Carbon Black
BK03
(Add to Cart)

Lowest level for least effect on mechanical and electrical properties. Limited protection against U.V. exposure.

BK05
(Add to Cart)

BK10
(Add to Cart)

Intermediate levels offering a choice of depth of color, U.V. protection and effect on property characteristics.
BK20
(Add to Cart)

Suggested for parts requiring good protection against the effects of extended outdoor exposure. Some loss of toughness and electrical insulation properties.

BK206
(Add to Cart)

Recommended where best protection is required for parts subjected to prolonged outdoor  weathering. Can be used in combination with additive systems for protection against unusually severe weathering exposure.

Dye Black
BK98
(Add to Cart)

BK99
(Add to Cart)

These organic dye based formulations produce an excellent deep, glossy black. Recommended for applications where maintenance of toughness or electrical properties is critical, and where protection against U.V. exposure is not required.

Carbon Black/Dye Black Combination

For applications which require a combination of outstanding appearance, retention of mechanical and electrical properties and some resistance to outdoor weathering or U.V. exposure, these two types of black can be combined. To order a combination, the carbon black designation precedes the dye, for example, BK1099. Please consult Customer Service or your Sales Engineer for availability of these special black colors.

Other Colors

Maintaining an emphasis on customer service, Radici Plastics USA, Inc. will arrange for color matching to a customer's specific requirement, rather than offer "standard" colors.

Color concentrates can be supplied directly, or already pellet blended at the correct let-down ratio.

Compounded colors can be made available subject to the type of formulation and minimum order requirements.

Lubricant Systems

Several choices of lubricant systems are available, particularly for unreinforced grades where very fast cycle times must be achieved, or where constraints of tool design may make part ejection difficult.

Standard options are designated L2, L3, L4 and L5; additional systems can be tailored to specific processing needs.

Please call Customer Service or your Sales Engineer to review special requirements.

Form and Packaging

All grades are supplied as free flowing pellets, pre-dried if required and ready for processing. Standard packaging includes gaylords containing 1,000 lbs. or 1,100 lbs. net, with moisture proof polyethylene liners.

Drums containing 250 lbs. and multi-wall foil-lined heat sealed bags containing 55 lbs. net.can be made available at additional cost.
